About Katy
A Little Bit About Me: I’m a proud mum to two amazing kids and wife to one gorgeous husband. We’ve called Singleton home for the past 3.5 years, and it’s been the best move we’ve made for our little tribe—a great community and the perfect place for our kids to grow up.

Work-wise, I’ve had a bit of a mixed journey, more recently in project management and communication design. I love organising things, solving problems, and bringing ideas to life—especially when I get to mix a bit of creativity in with the practical stuff. I’m all about getting things done, keeping it real, and enjoying work.

A FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I was a pink fish in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games Opening Ceremony – Yes Nicky Webster was flying above me while I was running around in head to toe black Lycra onesie and a 20 kg giant fish head and tail on ~ search pink fish Sydney Olympic games opening ceremony.

Philosophy or a Quote that you live by: It never hurts to smile.

FAVOURITE COFFEE SPOT IN SINGLETON: Happy Grillmores – A great local spot for an epic Bacon and Egg Roll and coffee on the run!

If I was in charge of planning the itinerary when friends were coming to stay, I’d be recommending…

We’d head out to Broke for breakfast at Magoony’s then hit up The Little Wine Company (through the back door of Magoony’s) for cheeky wine tasting – personally I rate their wine as the best in the valley. Then we’d hit up the Hunter Valley zoo for the kids and end up at the Smelly Cheese Co. for the best gelato and sorbets! Dinner we would come back into town and got to Club Singleton – again super accommodating for young families with a great play area and really yummy Thai food.
